We Would Like To Confirm That Northfield House Is Open For New Admissions*
We're delighted to say that we remained COVID FREE and all our residents have now had their 1st covid vaccination!
Almost all staff have also been vaccinated and we continue to undertake testing for staff and residents on a regular basis as required.
With the reduction in new cases generally and the advent of widespeard testing we are confident that we can continue to safely accept new admissions under the following conditions.
- Your loved one will need to be tested as near to admission due date as possible. If the test proves positive admission will be delayed for at least seven days from the start of them displaying symptoms.
- Upon admission your loved one will receive all the care and attention they would normally, however, they will be restricted to their room for the first 14 days. This is obviously for the safety of all concerned.
- Regular checks will be made in addition to the normal care plan to check for symptoms of COVID 19
As you will appreciate we unfortunately can't give you a tour of the home in person at the moment. You can however take a virtual tour here and we have numerous photos in the 'Pictures' section of our website to give you an idea of what the facilites at Northfield House are like.
Don't worry though, you won't be cut off from your loved one once they are admitted. We can organise online virtual visits via Skype and you can send your loved one a video message from our website any time by clicking here. We will also hopefully be setting up limited in person visiting in the near future once we have set up the necessary protections in the visiting area.
If you have any questions, would like to arrange admission, or would like to have a confidential chat about your requirements please do not hesitate to call us on 01453 488060, email us at care@northfieldcare.co.uk or click here to send us a video message.
We look forward to hearing from you!
