Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Activities Coordinator required at Northfield House Care Home in Stroud.


Have you worked with those with dementia before? If so, we would like to hear from you!
Are you available to work 25-30 hours per week to help enhance the mental and physical wellbeing of those in our care.


We have a homely and welcoming atmosphere and a genuine community feel.


Duties will include:

  • Organising a variety of activities to suit all needs, such as games, crafts, singing & dancing, armchair exercises, gardening club etc..
  • Overseeing themed days plus planning for events & outings.
  • Providing stimulation and encouragement to residents.
  • Arranging a programme with a variety of regular entertainers
  • Working to develop links with people and organisations within our local community.


The ideal candidate will need to be:

  • Well organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and also be a good team player.
  • Required to keep up to date with relevant documentation including record keeping, risk assessments, health and safety at work, etc.
  • Computer literate with at least some basic IT skill,
  • Full Drivers Licence is also an advantage
